KKSY New Synagogue Construction Process and Inauguration Video
On Feb 27, 2025 I was privileged to be amongst those who attended the KKSY synagogue Inauguration Service. My my what an experience, the atmosphere was jubilant, and the ambiance was fantastic. Every guest put on their finest Gladrags and sang their hearts out. The two-hour Service left me speechless and somewhat overwhelmed with joy. Rabbi Sjimon den Holland stole the show. His words and prayers were outstanding. A day, 20 years in the making, is one I'll never forget.
During my recent trip to Uganda, I had the amazing opportunity to visit the KKSY community, and I was greeted with such warmth and kindness. The community's hospitality was incredibly touching, and I immediately felt at home. A highlight of the trip was being part of the Synagogue's inauguration. It was such a meaningful moment to witness, and I felt truly honored to be there. The sense of community and togetherness was inspiring, this experience is something I'll carry with me.
