The 2026 academic year in Uganda is just getting underway. As in every year, SJUA will send Abayudayan students from disadvantaged backgrounds to receive a full-time education at an excellent boarding school. [With no outstanding schools locally, boarding school is the best option, and this school supports our communities’ Jewish practices and studies.] This year’s cohort will consist of 21 students, in both primary and secondary school

With such a great schooling option for our communities’ children, it pains us to report that there are still children who are not at school due to lack of funding.
