AS WE PREPARE FOR PASSOVER, some of the SJUA work does behind the scenes.

Recently, Ros, an SJUA Member, was in Nairobi visiting the Black Jewish community who live there.
She was able to give them two suitcases full of much-needed items such as tallit, clothes, and toiletries. In addition, she gave them on behalf of SJUA, $200, which will enable them to buy kosher for Passover needs. Now they will be able to enjoy a Communal Seder night.

Separately, the Nongola Community in Uganda reached out to SJUA for help. They needed money to buy Kosher for Passover food, paper plates and so on. Joel Beattie, an SJUA member reached out to them and was able to send $200. Now they are able to buy goat, eggs, rice, cooking oil and matza for their Communal Seder night and week ahead.

SJUA wish all the Jews in Uganda and Nairobi, a wonderful, meaningful Passover.
We are proud to be able to do as much as we can to support them. Our work is made possible by the most generous donations we receive from our friends and donors.
 Thank you
