SJUA-Funded Apprentice Completes Training

Following a successful 12-month apprenticeship, Kamya Kodesh, known as Suuwa, a young, active KKSY Community Member, completed his apprentiship to become a motorbike/car mechanic.

He is the first  KKSY apprentice, funded by SJUA, to complete training and find a paid job working for a local garage. His boss, Moses Emokol (shown in the photo), was happy to hire Suuwa at his garage, Emeco Auto Clinic, near Mbale.

Without training, Suuwa would have found it impossible to find a job.

Suuwa who observes Shabbat, is working Sunday to Thursday.

SJUA is delighted to wish him good luck working as a mechanic.

SJUA is now looking to offer funding to two more young KKSY members.

Please donate now towards this vital goal.
The more youngsters we can train in a specific field, the more likely they are to stay in the KKSY Community and lead the way for its future.

Please consider donating to SJUA’s education efforts.
